Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is a Season)

I'm not gonna lie...the Beatles were pioneers of a new frontier and I think I identify with their music now more them ever.

After a prolonged blogging absence, I've decided to resume correspondence over this public forum. Though, time will tell for how long.

I've been experiencing a lengthy season of transition and unrest yet one could argue that life is constantly transforming and evolving for we are called to work out our salvation with frear and trembling (Phil 2:12-13). After all the Valleys are often more meaningful then the mountainous experiences on high.

When I type the word INSANE, usually vivid images of those locked up on mental wards as depicted by Jack Nicholson in "one flew over the coo coos nest" comes to mind. However, I would suggest that the polarity of insanity is more common and can be understood simply as mental anguish. I'm recalling a definition of insanity which is expressed as maladaptive behavior engaged in over an extended period of time, ignorant of the desire or need to change.

I'm at that point in need of making some large scale changes in stepping outside of comfort and the nursing of old habits. I invite you to journey with me over these next few months of trial, tribulation and breakthrough to spur one another on.
To live is Christ, and to die is gain!

"I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead(Phil 3:10-11).
